This is beautiful. If I could have this installation in my home I'd sacrifice a room and set up a little darkroom for it before proceeding to spend hours staring at it and marveling at light and optics.

Washington, DC: Why did this article make me cry? I'm 32, male, working on Capitol Hill, hell I'm even a Republican. So today's solar eclipse was (is, actually, it's still going on here) the longest annular solar eclipse of the millennium, the next longest one is in 3043, blah blah. It was totally cloudy here so I didn't see anything other than a slight darkening of the sky (sky getting brighter now because the eclipse is waning). Some lucky people in Nairobi and India got a great view though.

This has been out for a while - didn't see it before. But still, wow, that is cool.
